Jiangsu Xinsu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd belongs to Jiangsu Xinsu Group, formerly known as the state-owned Xinsu Machinery Factory which established in 1965 in the mountainous area of southern Anhui. The factory code is 971, and it is a local arsenal for conventional weapons production in Jiangsu. The original main products were model-56,7.62mm semi-automatic rifle and model-64,7.62mm pistol. In 1987, the factory moved back to Wuxi, Jiangsu and transformed into private enterprise in 2001.
